District of North Saanich Implements \"North Saanich Map\"

Home to the Victoria Internat ional Airport , the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal and 11,000 residents, the District of North Saanich continues to be a leader amongst smaller municipalities in the development of GIS. In order to efficiently handle increasing responsibilities and improve municipal services, the District (with the aid of Pacific Alliance Technologies) has implemented North Saanich Map (http://gis.northsaanich.ca/), a web-based mapping site. District of West Vancouver Releases WestMAP (December 2005)

The District of West Vancouver continues its focus on customer service with the help of Pacific Alliance Technologies. West Vancouver released its interactive web mapping site, WestMAP (http://westvancouver.ca/westmap) on December 4, 2005. WestMAP provides a window into the existing municipal Geographic Information System (GIS). Selected layers from the GIS are available for public viewing, and more layers to be added in the future. Pacific Alliance Acknowledged As an Autodesk Media Reseller (November 2005)
